Steven Borowy

Steven is an enthusiast of all things lighting & design. He is passionate about lighting design in residential, commercial, And hospitality environments.

Steven “accidentally” fell into the industry during college, working at GE Lighting’s historic Nela Park in Cleveland, OH, followed up by an invaluable training experience at Kichler corporate headquarters.

A native of Cleveland, Steven has spent the last 10 years in Chicago with MDA Lites, becoming the Principal Owner of the agency in 2020. Outside of business, he spends his time with his growing Family.

Michelle Collins joined MDA Lites in October 2015. She is an ALA Certified Lighting Specialist and has worked in the lighting industry for over 20 years.

Michelle currently lives in the Chicago area. She has a strong passion for lighting and design. Michelle also loves to travel and spent time with her family and husband.

Nicole joined the MDA team in 2022. She has a background in customer service and values the relationships she forms with others.

Nicole lives in Florida, where she enjoys her interests including the beach, nature, and outdoor activities. She is passionate about traveling as a means of expanding her cultural background and knowledge of the world.

As a teen, Greg began to work at his father’s lighting business (electrical wholesaling), helping out in various roles from inventory, warehousing, cleaning, and, eventually, sales. 

He studied business in college and has been working in the lighting business ever since graduation. Greg resides in Evanston, IL, with his family. His favorite hobbies include Martial Arts, tennis, fishing, and baseball.

What he enjoys most about this industry is learning about new products, selling, finding solutions to challenges, and helping customers by providing top-notch customer service.
